The Magical Harry Potter Themed Cafe All Potterheads Would Love

By  |

Potterheads around the world rejoice at the news of any Harry Potter related event or location, purely because it is a reminder that there are other people all over the world who love HP just as much as we do.

We have the Warner Bros Studio Tour in London where we can learn about the special effects and used and see the film sets with our own eyes and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida which is a HP themed theme park, but that’s not all.

There are smaller establishments across the world that are inspired by the world of Witchcraft and wizardry. The Lockhart Bar opened in Toronto, Canada for people to get their Butter beer fix or try a potion or elixir.

Now there is another location set to knock your socks off.

A Harry Potter themed cafe has recently opened in Islamabad, Pakistan and it is all things wonderful and wizard-like.

The Hogwarts Cafe has been set up by brothers Hassan and Haider Khan, who are huge HP fans and transferred their love of the story into a business.

They told The Huffington Post “”Our childhood has been spent daydreaming about Hogwarts. Turning 11 was a milestone for us while we sat in a corner of our homes with the hope that an owl would tap on our windows with a letter any time; but it never happened.”

The of course offer Butter Beer – “The preferred drink of underaged wizards and witches’.

Incredible food from Cho Chang’s Kitchen – the Godric’s Hollowed Burger certainly sounds interesting.

The main attraction though is the extensive drinks menu, particularly the potions – A round of Tongue Twisters and Wolfsbanes anyone?

Unfortunately, non-essential travel to Pakistan has been warned against by the UK Foreign Office, which means we won’t be able to fly over on our broomsticks for a Goblet of Fire and Shrieking Steak.

Thankfully though, you can at least enjoy the cafe through the magic of the internet.

From floating candles…;

to incredibly tasty looking treats that wouldn’t look out of place at a Hogwarts feast.

Check out The Hogwarts Cafe Facebook page for more photos and updates of the magical place.
